The Mediterranean as it once was...
One of the tourism slogans says about this part of Europe "The Mediterranean as it once was" - which is the pure truth. Really - it is very seldom that you can find such a preserved old towns with its rich history and culture - still in the shape of old Mediterranean times and places.
One of the benefits of being a Mediterranean is plentiful sunshine throughout the year, and Adriatica is no exception. In fact, Adriatica epitomises the ideal weather of the region with sunny days and fine temperatures on average 300 days of the year.
Extremes of temperatures are rare, meaning Adriatica has something to offer every month of the year.
Not already in love with Adriatica?
Well, here are some of the reasons why we believe you won’t find a better place to live:

What lies behind the hill?
Well - this not so clear photo shows the hill called Marian - and behind it lies the capital of Mediterranean - the city of Split.
Split is a busy port, with an international airport and regular ferry services with the nearby islands, the north and south Adriatica, Italy and Greece.
The merchant and passenger ships of the Split shipyards may be encountered in almost all the seas of the world. The fertile fields around Split represent a good base for agriculture, while cultural monuments, superb landscapes and unparalleled seascapes make it a tourist's wonderland. Split is also a university seat and host to numerous scientific institutions.
Know this place?
Of course - this is the pearl of Adriatica - beautiful monument made in stone - made of stone... this is Dubrovnik. "Those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik" - has once written George Bernard Shaw.
From the entrance to the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik is the first port protected by islands on the maritime route to the West, and by way of the Neretva Valley, it has the fastest connection with its hinterland. Dubrovnik was independent republic for centuries. Its navy was one of the strongest in the world at those times. At the beginning of the XXI century, Dubrovnik is the jewel in the crown of one of the new secure modern European democracies.
